Yesterday my friend Amy and I headed out Christmas shopping in York for the day. Although it was freezing cold it was lovely and sunny. We stopped off at the cutest old restaurant for lunch. It was in this really old building with wonky doors and walls. I had potato and fennel soup and Amy had a club sandwich. The food was delish! Then we headed onto the Shambles to pick up some nice individual gifts for people.

The Shambles look at how crooked all the buildings are.. remind you of anywhere? Perhaps a wizard shopping street? Yup this is where they filmed the famous Diagon Ally in the Harry Potter movies. Cool ha?
